Our 5-Year Workmanship Warranty

1. Warranty Coverage

SUNUTI Renewable Energy warrants to the original purchaser (“Customer”) that the installation of the solar photovoltaic (PV) system (the “System”) at the specified location will be free from defects in workmanship under normal use and service conditions for a period of five (5) years from the Effective Date. This warranty covers labor and installation practices performed by SUNUTI Renewable Energy and its authorized subcontractors.

2. Product Warranties

Separate from this Workmanship Warranty, all photovoltaic modules, inverters, mounting systems, and other components of the System are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranties, which generally provide coverage for defects in materials or functionality for up to 25 years from the date of manufacture. Specific warranty terms and conditions are provided by the manufacturers and are available upon request from SUNUTI Renewable Energy.

3. Warranty Service

In the event of a suspected issue attributed to workmanship, SUNUTI Renewable Energy will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the affected part of the System at no cost to the Customer. All warranty repairs must be performed by SUNUTI Renewable Energy or an authorized agent to maintain warranty validity.

4. Warranty Transfer

This Workmanship Warranty may be transferred to a new owner of the premises where the System is installed, provided SUNUTI Renewable Energy is notified in writing within thirty (30) days of property transfer.

5. Exclusions and Limitations

This Workmanship Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage or defects resulting from causes beyond SUNUTI Renewable Energy’s control, including, without limitation, accidents, misuse, theft, animal activities, severe weather conditions, and natural disasters.
  • Systems modified, altered, reinstalled, or repaired by anyone other than SUNUTI Renewable Energy or its authorized agents.
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic issues such as discoloration or rust that do not affect the structural integrity or functionality of the System.
  • Costs related to system removal or reinstallation for repairs covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

6. Warranty Voiding

The following actions or conditions will void this Workmanship Warranty:

  • Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs to the installed System.
  • Installation of additional components not approved by SUNUTI Renewable Energy.
  • Failure to maintain the System according to SUNUTI Renewable Energy’s guidelines.
  • Damage or failure caused by improper use or maintenance by the Customer or third parties.

7. Claim Procedure

To make a claim under this Workmanship Warranty, the Customer must notify SUNUTI Renewable Energy in writing within ten (10) business days of discovering the potential defect. The notice must include the date of discovery, a detailed description of the issue, and proof of purchase. SUNUTI Renewable Energy will then conduct an inspection and respond to the warranty claim within thirty (30) days.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SUNUTI Renewable Energy be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or interruption of business.

This Workmanship Warranty is given in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, which are hereby disclaimed, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
